The service

ListPulse is a software-as-a-service tool for cleaning and verifying email lists. By creating an account or uploading a file, you agree to these terms.

Subscriptions & credits

• Subscriptions bill monthly or annually via Stripe at the price in effect at signup. We can change pricing for new sign-ups but never silently for existing subscribers — we'll email at least 30 days before any change to your plan.
• Each Mailgun-backed verification consumes 1 credit. Free checks (syntax, disposable, role, MX, dedup) never cost credits.
• Credit packs are non-refundable but never expire while your account is active.
• Cancel any time from the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation stops future billing immediately; you keep access until the end of your paid period.
• Annual subscriptions: pro-rated refunds within 14 days of purchase. After that, no partial refunds for the unused portion.

Acceptable use

• Don't use ListPulse to validate addresses you don't have permission to email. We're a list-hygiene tool, not a list-acquisition tool.
• Don't abuse the API: rate limits apply per key, and we may throttle or revoke keys that show abnormal patterns.
• Don't use the service to send unsolicited mail (we don't actually send mail, but if our verifications are part of a spam pipeline we'll terminate the account).

Data

Your uploaded list data is encrypted at rest (see our Privacy Policy). Free uploads are auto-purged after 48 hours if you don't subscribe. Subscribers can delete any upload at any time.

Service availability

We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime. If we fall below that, contact us for a credit equal to the affected portion of your subscription. We can't be liable for downtime caused by upstream providers (Stripe, Mailgun, the internet) but will pass through any credits we receive from them.

Disclaimers & liability

Email verification is probabilistic. We work hard to be accurate, but no provider can guarantee 100%. Mailgun's "deliverable" verdict is the industry's most reliable signal but not a guarantee that an email will reach the inbox.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms with reasonable notice (or immediately, for clear abuse). On termination, all data is purged within 30 days.

Changes

If we update these terms, we'll email you at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
